Acts 20:28-30 NIV

Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.

Today we will be talking with Rich Wooten, Director Safety and Security Director Safety and Security at CCV. Rich has been with CCV for 6 years. Prior to that Rich was the Security Manager Security Manager for the National Football League in New York, New York, Rich also retired from as a Police Detective for City of Phoenix after 26 years.

The vast majority of churches won't experience a terrorist or shooter attack, but other situations are more frequent, and church leaders need to have a security plan and staff in place to protect their flock. Alarm systems, security personnel, and video surveillance are simply a few components of the solution.

If CCV or any church doesn't feel safe and secure, they can forget the purpose of your church and the message of God. Every church needs a security strategy that outlines what the staff, church leaders, security personnel, and our attendees should do in case of emergency.
