Remember, you're representing not just CCV, but the Lord Jesus Christ. And so we want to remind you that at CCV, our mission is to win people to Christ, to train believers to become disciples, and to send disciples to impact the world. I’m sure you know that was Jesus final words to hid disciples and to us today when he finished his earthly mission. It is known as the Great Commission.
God has called a lot of different people on this trip with you. You are needed. Your skills are valued, but they're not more valuable than what the team has to offer. So we want to encourage to function as a team and just take good care of one another.
Someone once asked me, what is the single biggest barrier to a successful mission trip? Without hesitation, I said, understanding the culture of the region of the world that you are visiting. Imagine the world divided into three regions North, East and South. CCV goes to all three of those regions. So it is critical that the team understands the people who live in those regions.
